Of course, I do live in England so weather isn’t always sunshine and rainbows however… I’m not ready to say goodbye to the Summer yet!

Here’s to hoping, anyway…
It was a Tuesday morning and off I trotted with my outfits in hand, ready to shot some beautiful content for the blog. Not only was I met with bin day which doesn’t really bode too well in the background of photos but then it chucked it down, and it didn’t stop once. Still, I didn’t let this stop me and I pranced around in my frilly, floral pink dress and strappy sandals because Summer is definitely not over yet, or atleast I’m not accepting it if it is.
This dress was one I found whilst browsing JD Williams. An online store that caters for everyone regardless of size, shape or age and for that I kinda love it. I found this lurking within the dress pages and knew I would love it. It fits really nicely (here I’m wearing a 10) and the material is super comfortable. I love the sleeve frills and pretty floral detailing also it works so well with the sandals, which are the perfect shade of khaki. Anyway, like I said, it’s totally okay to wear Summer dresses in the rain and I definitely think it’s a trend we all need to adapt because let’s face it, it rains a lot.
Things I love about Summer…
Being able to leave the house without a jacket, coat, jumper, gloves and a hat. Just breezing on out in my tshirt is so easy and I feel so light.
Speaking of light… lighter evenings, they make working from home much easier and I love that it’s still light at 9pm!
When the sun’s out everyone just seems happier (most of the time)
Shoes are a lot easier. I always struggle with boots and closed in shoes as they never work with all outfits. Whereas sandals are always a good choice and work with trousers, dresses, skirts.. you name it!
Daytime cocktails are a thing. Fancy a Martini at 1pm on a Saturday afternoon? Cool! Go for it! Have two!
