I like festivals, I like hair.. so what happens when you put the two together?! A tutorial, of course…

Oh, festival season… aren’t you just a right ol’ beaut?! I absolutely adore festival inspired hair looks, which is why I was super excited to work with Remington to create a really cool bohemian styled look. The lovely team sent over this amazing styler, aka the Remington Silk Wave Wand and let me create whatever I wanted, which was brave… but nice of them! Ha!

With this styler I found that it was really easy to get varied waves. For the video tutorial (which you can find below..) I used it quite tight to my parting, and in small sections. This created a really nice beach wave style and once I broke these waves up using my fingers, my hair felt ten times thicker! I really like this unruly, slightly messy but very boho look and it’s perfect for those with finer hair, like me. Also, for those with straight hair that can be a little stubborn, these waves stayed in until I washed it!

Next up, as you can see I also used the tong to create more subtle, looser waves. To do this was the same method, except I curled bigger sections and not as close to the root. If you have longer hair, you could even just curl half way up for a really on-trend look.

To finish off the styles I used some amazing milk_shake products. If you guys follow my YouTube, you may remember me talking about these on a few occasions already, but OH MY they smell good and work great.

To get rid of the knots (such a pain) I spritzed through some of the Milk_Shake leave in conditioner, which is my new fave product! To help hold the looks in place, I used this Hairspray, which has amazing hold and keeps the curls put for that little bit extra (also great for root lift!) Lastly, for a more softer finish, I sprayed through the incredible milk, now this product has 12 benefits, so you definitely need to head on over and check those out!

For some cool festival content, make sure you pop on over and check out the Remington Festival Guide. You can also head on over to the Milk Shake Festival page for tips on products too, just in case you’re in need of some festival inspired love! Is it just me that gets more excited the more I read about going to festivals!?

Thank you to Remington for working with me on this blog post. I enjoyed creating these hairstyles and of course, all views are my own 🙂
