I escaped to the country side recently, wearing my favourite LFW piece and sporting a new very special ring…

In the morning
So the London Fashion Week buzz may have gone a little quiet recently but let me tell you, I am very much still inspired. I was lucky enough to work with George at Asda for this season’s LFW and featured in their YouTube video, which you can watch by clicking here. I was invited along to spot some fancy footwear among the fashion goes and took over the George instagram too – click here to see the photos I took on the day.
In terms of my outfit, it was a very cold, Winters day so I kept it practical (unlike some!) George very kindly let me choose an outfit from the website and as soon as I saw this black shirt I knew I would get loads of wear out of it. It’s the type of shirt that goes with any outfit – from my LFW flares and faux suede jacket, to my floral skirt and dolly shoes. I just love it.
So to LFW you can see my full outfit in the video here. I decided I wanted to go with a slight Seventies feel and popped on my flares and tassel jacket. It was one of those “I have a lot of clothes and nothing to wear” type days, so I’m really pleased I had this shirt to pull straight out of my wardrobe. For the blog I decided to show how versatile it is, and popped on this little skirt & some cute dolly shoes. The shoes were mostly inspired by those I spotted at LFW, there were so many daring and wonderful styles!
Lastly, I know it’s not exactly Spring.. yet, but I am getting excited about the fact that I have been about to wear my brand new Wayfarer Sunglasses a few times already! These are the RayBan 2140 Wayfarer style frames and I absolutely love them. They have a retro feel and Raybans are always super comfortable to wear, I own far too many pairs these days!

So, we shot these photos a few weekends ago now and even though I’ve shared my news over on my YouTube channel I wanted to wait until this post to pop it up on my blog. These photos were actually taken about 40 minutes before my boyfriend popped the question and asked me to marry him! So, as you can imagine, they are probably my most favourite set of photos yet. So thanks George for the shirt, perhaps it brought me some luck? 😉
I’m not sure how I feel about “wedding” blog posts, but if it’s something you’d like to see on here then of course let me know in the comments – you guys matter to me, so I love to know what you want to read! In the meantime and whilst I decide, make sure you follow me on all social media – you can definitely keep up to date that way! Links at the top of the page.

This post is a collaboration with George at Asda. It’s been an honour to work with George and I had a fantastic time filming with the team at LFW!
congratulations you should check my bog!
