You don’t own me

I forget how much I love a dash of leopard print… it brightens an outfit and adds an element of the vintage feel. To make it even better, today’s outfit was inspired by a very hip 77 year old, intrigued yet?!

Don’t try to change me in any way.

That song is constantly stuck in my head recently, and I just love the House of Fraser ‘Your Christmas, Your Rules‘ campaign that comes with it! I was asked recently if I would share a video of the amazing Bridget Sojourner (you can watch it below!) When I tuned in, I noticed we even had the same coat.. this means I’m as cool as her right?!

Anyway, inspired by Bridget’s coolness and amazing fashion sense, I thought I’d do a little outfit featuring the same coat! I love leopard print, and this is slightly oversized, making it very vintage-esq. It also comes with a black faux-fur collar but I preferred it without for this look. I went for simple black dunagrees from In The Style, which are just so comfortable, a little pink neck-tie shirt and these amazing boots! For boots with such a high heel I can tell you these are the most comfortable heels I own.. I feel like I bounce when I walk in them!

This is an outfit I can see myself wearing for many occassions.. dinner out with friends, a evening party and even for Christmas day itself. I love how the casual outfit underneath is dressed up with this cool coat. Now, I need to go dye my hair and change my name three times to match up to B’s standards…! * This post is sponsored by The 7th Chamber, but as always all views are my own – I really do love Bridget!
