Delicately

Oh hello blue dress of dreams. I actually took these photos a little while ago in the depths of Northumberland (look at that view!) and thought I’d pop them up on Tiny Twisst today because well, I just really like this dress. The colour is so pretty – a dusky baby blue, layers of material which give it a super delicate feminine vibe, and a pretty off the shoulders neckline. Whilst wearing it I remembered I had these shoes which are the exact same colour, and I do love a good colour match. They are the perfect heels for grassy occasions too, because they’re wedges – no getting stuck in that grass!

So last weekend was the bank holiday weekend here in the UK – meaning we all get Monday off work. (I say all.. some do…) My boyfriend and I had lots of house bits to do over the long weekend, but Saturday we literally had the most chilled day of all time, which included.. a big takeaway (always my favourite treat!) TV, The Sims and lots of naps. It was glorious but it’s taking me quite a while to adjust back into working at my desk and I do wish I was laying on the sofa instead… but we can’t have it all, can we?
