I have been after a checked skirt for some time now but have never been able to find one that fits ‘just right’. Lucky for me this one popped through my letterbox recently and I can’t get enough of it. If like me you have a little junk in the trunk (not quite a Kim K though, I’ll have you know..) you will understand when I express my sadness at how difficult it can be to find a ‘mini’ skirt that fits nicely. I don’t know what it is, the material, the zip or just a well made fit but this is perfect (and now reduced in the sale, too!) I popped on this simple black jumper and my favourite shape of Raybans – I’m so excited to be able to wear sunglasses again – I can feel Spring is well on it’s way!
I have also been loving thigh-high boots but never actually had the courage to wear them in public. I love how these look with this outfit, they just add a touch of sass. How do you feel about the thigh-highs? I guess it all depends on the outfit – maybe the more casual, the better!? I’d love to know how you guys wear them.

I think the boots look great, though I’d definitely be self conscious wearing them too. High black socks and black shoes would be a less scary alternative I think 🙂 xx
