When this Hush cardigan landed through my door via Mr Postman I was pretty excited. In fact, it’s probably a little sad to be that excited about knitwear, but y’know, it takes all sorts. It’s the beautiful mix of colours I love the most, a strong, vibrant pink paired with neutral brown tones – who would have thought these colours would work so well together? A slouchy cardi is my absolute favourite piece to wear throughout the colder months, they provide comfort that a coat cannot and I guess I just like being damn comfortable! I wanted to go for a slight retro feel, so paired it with my trusty high-waisters via Topshop (will always love these!) and these beaut pair of boots via Clarks (which are probably the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned!)

So, next week I go on holiday and I’m pretty excited about it! I’m off to Cornwall for a nice chilled out week with my boyfriend, and I cannot wait – life has been pretty hectic recently and I can’t remember the last time I had a complete week off/holiday. Of course this little space will still be updated and I’m sure I’ll still be tweeting and instagramming, but I am definitely looking forward to a little less Internet, sometimes it’s good to just get away from it all and enjoy a bit of no-phone-time!
