The bardot dress, a neckline of supreme elegance. I have been spotting this across the shoulder neckline everywhere recently, and it’s definitely growing on me. This USC dress is part of the Essentials collection, a range of brilliant basics. Oh, and it’s only £18, which is a bit of a bargain, isn’t it?! I love the slight retro feel this simple dress can create, for example I paired it with my trusty polkadot hair tie and a bold red lip and feel it makes it a little fifties. I also found these shoes lurking in my wardrobe and felt they needed to be worn, this Lulu Winter bracelet is also the perfect addition to a LBD – glams it up instantly! If you fancy this neckline for yourself, make sure to check out the USC Essentials range. River Island also offer bardot tops and dresses in all patterns and colours, there’s definitely enough styles to choose from too! (Loving this daisy print!)
I’ve had a very busy week. Monday I hopped on a train to London to check out the Wedding Dresses exhibition at the V&A. Don’t worry, no white dresses for me anytime soon, but a girl loves to look at a bit of sparkle! I did actually vlog my day – so make sure you suscribe to my YouTube channel to catch that as soon as it goes live!
My new dress arrived in 2 days, and was slightly wrinkled only due to folding in bag, I’d expect it to be worse. But like I always say, who cares anyway. If that’s a big issue, I am still not complaining.
