Bag – Mark Giusti
Dress – Topshop
Scarf – Alexander McQueen, Selfridges
Sandals – Topshop
Lipstick – Chanel, Debenhams

I love the nautical trend, soft blues mixed with strong navy and subtle creams. Also not to mention a deep red lip – which is obviously my favourite makeup addition! I am also loving slightly ‘beachy’ styled bags, these look amazing with a summer outfit for a stroll down the park – or to the beach, if you’re lucky.

This Topshop dress is a brilliant little wardrobe item. Not only is it great with this theme, but I can imagine it to be very versatile throughout summer, and also very fitting for the pastel tones we are seeing everywhere at the moment. I paired this with these sandals because I loved the colours mixed together. Subtle yet striking.

A McQueen scarf for me is like a habit. I own a black one and feel somewhat compelled to buy a neutral shade, like above. I can imagine this would be a brilliant little companion to any outfit for any occasion. I feel for this outfit, the neutral shade matches the rope on the bag, and I feel that this works really well together.

Lastly, the bag that inspired me! By Mark Giusti this bag is a brilliant summer item. Sometimes all it takes is one key item to pull an outfit together. I love how this bag is taking on the nautical trend, as well as the backpack trends we have been seeing all over the high street. I do love a bag with a varied choice of handles to use, after all (especially when one is made out of a rope-like material!) It’s a little classy and a little casual all in one, and for that.. I simply love it!
Will you be enjoying the nautical trend this summer?
