White – Topshop
Navy – Rosalina Nacken
Peach – River Island
For me, the structured bag will always be a massive statement as well as being exceptionally handy. There’s not many times I can grab a bag for every occasion – for example, the slouchy suede bag is great for a day out shopping, but no so much for a high profile interview. Whereas, something with a little structure (like those I have picked above) are great for both events – a wardrobe staple, if you will.
The Cambridge Satchel Company are top players in the Satchel world, having a wide range of colours, sizes and shapes. I especially loved the pastel collection they brought out but do find that this tan shade is the most wearable and reliant.
Whilst most of the above are satchel shapes, I also love this navy Rosalina Nacken Shelle, royal blue ‘clutch’. Not only can it be used as a handy clutch bag, but it also doubles up as a trusty tablet case, which I think is a wonderful idea. This perfect hue of navy results in a bag perfect for your best friends wedding, to a company dinner. With a optional simple gold chain and beautiful front detailing, I also think this is perfect for the never-ending nautical trend. I envisage this being worn with a deep red lip, a striped off the shoulder dress and red heels – an outfit that will never date.
White is a massive colour for Spring/Summer, so of course I had to feature this Topshop number. This is again perfect with a wide array of outfits and would look especially great with an all-black casual look. I also love how it has no metal detailing, just all material – it keeps it looking fresh and modern. With a slight change in hue, is this peachy pink River Island treat. With classic gold studs and buckles it is a classic piece that will add a girly ‘twisst’ to any outfit.
