I do love a bit of black now and then but sometimes it can be a little too dull.. however, add a pop of colour and it adds a new dimension . This dress is a great practical wardrobe piece, it adds a little colour and can be worn in a number of different ways. Here I have paired it with this long cardigan, which may well be my new favourite staple piece – something I never thought I’d say about a cardigan! I think the longer length of this keeps it modern, and definitely works so well with leggings and Chelsea boots like above. You all know by now that I love to match my lippy to my clothes, hence the burgundy red shade I can’t help but go back to.. love me some red!

I had a lovely weekend visiting home this week and it was lovely to catch up with the family – it’s very hard being so far away from them at times! We did a bit of shopping and lots of talking, it’s always my favourite! I’m now about to watch another Breaking Bad, me and the boyfriend are one hundred percent addicted.. excuse the pun.
