It’s not very often I discuss makeup, but I do get a few questions here and there about what products I use and what I wear on my face, so what better place to discuss it than on here!?

Firstly I have alot of foundation. I haven’t ever found the “right one” for me, so I tend to wear many different ones every day, just because I go through phases and can’t quite stick to just one. Lately I have been donning the Nars Sheer Glow and I do absolutely love it.. that was if the assistant didn’t match me up too dark, cheers love. If the colour was right though, this would definitely be my go-to foundation. A little on the pricey side, so I tend to save it for weekends and special occasions (I do this with expensive foundations.. am I the only one?!) and currently I cover it in a really light powder, to make it a little lighter on my skin. It is worth giving it a try though, payday splurge?

Next up mascara, now this is probably what I get asked most about. I have always, for as long as I can remember, used two mascaras together. I try to use one for length and one for thickness and it has taken me a while to find the perfect pair. Lately, my mascara couple has been Maybelline Colossal (for volume) and L’Oreal Miss Manga (for length) I apply Maybelline Colossal first for a base, and then use  L’Oreal Miss Manga over the top, it seems to work wonders for my lashes!

Lastly are a couple of new makeup bag additions, and ones that I have instantly fallen in love with. Before these I had never used creme blush or really divulged into highlighter too much. However, I have no idea why because these instantly brighten my complexion. Both products come in the form of a chubby stick. To use the blush I simply draw a thin line onto my face and blend with either my fingers or a stippling brush, it blends just like powder. With the highlighter, I apply to my finger and then dab onto my skin – over my cheekbones, nose and under my eyebrows.

I hope that answered a few of your questions! If you would like any more makeup/beauty related posts, let me know in the comments and I shall try to work my magic!

You look lovely! I’m not such a fan of the Miss Manga mascara as it doesn’t do much for me but it looks like it really works for you X
