When purchasing this jacket (after asking a staff member to take it off a mannequin, and making my boyfriend watch me try it on about 100 times..) I did a little happy squeal in the queue. The colours aren’t as saturated as I would have liked in these photos, but the beautiful pastel tones mixed with a grey palette work really well, and are amazing for this seasons on-going pastel trend. However, sadly I was a little disappointed at the quality and price tag, this coat is priced at £55 and the quality is a little shocking for a coat of this costing (to some it is nothing, but to me I think it’s steep!) it is very, very thin and therefore definitely more of a ‘Spring jacket’. Anyway, it’s pretty I suppose, which makes up for it. I am again channelling my Topshop gingham jeans (which are very well loved..) and pink fluffy jumper, yes, I brought this in as many colours as possible, I did tell you I loved it..
So for those of you who don’t follow me on Twitter (and why not..?!) I had some very exciting news… I am the new Fashion Columnist for Within Magazine! My first column will be available in the March issue and I am very, very excited. It is a dream of mine to write fashion based articles for a magazine and I cannot wait to get started!
P.S. Yay for my mini-topknot in the first photo.. it’s growing, slowly.. but surely!
