Skirt – Vintage Inclined*
Top – New Look
Shoes – Next
Necklace – H&M
Lips – MAC, Red
Like most others I do like a bit of vintage clothing (or the idea of it, atleast) however I don’t generally have time – or the patience – to sift through charity shops to find anything remotely decent. I can imagine it’s quite a personal achievement to actually find something worthwhile and amazing for 50p… but I’ve never been one for rummaging, as much as I wish I was. Anyway, rather than buying new clothes that look like they could be vintage (come on, we all do it) I would one hundred percent recommend online stores that basically do all the hard work for you – Vintage Inclined being one of these. They kindly asked me to pick a piece from their website and it was probably the toughest job ever – it is jam packed full of amazing vintage one-off pieces. This skirt is absolutely beautiful and I love that it is a one-off vintage – it makes it feel even more special. I have a thing for floral prints and pleats – put those together and it’s even better. Also, the red earthy colouring of this skirt will make it easy to wear in the current transitional seasons, this in Autumn will be perfect (brown leather jacket, boots, hey-presto..!) not only that it’s all ‘flowy’ and brilliant to wear, dreamy.
Where is your go to place for vintage pieces?
