Even in August sometimes nothing beats a simple LBD and this one from Oh My Love is a little bit more special than your ordinary… Not only because the material is so light and beautiful for summer weather, but it has the coolest gold metal detailing on the back straps – simplicity at it’s best. I paired it with these spiked golden oldies – if you’ve been reading Tiny Twissy for a while you’ll remember these bad boys – I’m a little bored of strappy sandals and girly heels so I wanted to wear this with the complete opposite – something bold and heavy, I love the strong contrast of heavy and soft. I also wore my current favourite neon necklace after all, I did say I might never take it off.
I know it’s still only August and us here in the UK especially don’t want to be thinking about winter, but I have been noticing stores have gradually been introducing winter clothes.. brrr! As miserable as this might make me feel now, I do like the change in seasons to begin with, you have to admit it’s a nice change. Whilst I love sandals and flip-flops, I have been missing a good ol’ pair of boots! I especially love these Desert Boots from Clarks, simple and still pretty quirky. Just imagine them with a chunky jumper, jeans and a woolly hat. Okay, that’s enough.. I’m sorry. Go enjoy the sun (for now!)
