Lips – MAC, Up The Amp
The cut-out trend is one I have always admired from afar, I can’t say I have ever really found the ‘right’ dress for me, until I received this
Lashes of London maxi dress. Cut-out is a difficult trend to work on a short dress if you don’t like flashing too much skin – I prefer to be a little ‘demure’ and stick to the low top/long bottom (and vice versa) rule and I definitely think this applies within this trend. Here we have a long maxi, and a cut-out waist band, which keeps it girly and not too over the top – perfect for holidays and for this amazing weather that England is promising us this weekend.. (we can live in hope!) The colours are pretty spectacular and I’m sad they haven’t photographed as brightly as I would have liked – how have I never been introduced to lime green and purple as a pair before? Match made in colour-heaven!
So, I haven’t posted for an entire week! Very unusual for me, if there’s one thing I’m on the ball with, it’s this blog. But anyway, as you might have seen it was my birthday, so I was off doing lots of fun things! I went to London for a cocktail day with my friends (Vlog here!!) and then a few days later went to Westfield in Stratford with my Mum – we both agreed that Westfield is amazing.. three floors of shop is our type of heaven and we definitely shopped ’til we dropped.
