Back in the day my sister and I would run around in my Nan’s skirts as fancy dress.. now I’d probably wear them in real life… that’s a weird realisation isn’t it. “Granny skirts” are actually cool now, on trend and hey ho they are extremely comfy, everyone loves a ‘flowy’ skirt. This one from Mombasa Rose is a vintage styled aztec print, which obviously makes it even better (and a little less Nan-skirty) Of course I paired it with some over sized “geek” glasses, you know how much I love those. This pair are from MyOptique and I really like the slightly squared frame and neutral colouring. MyOptique also sell designer glasses, ray ban glasses and my favourite, the London Retro glasses. I really enjoy how being “almost blind” isn’t a problem anymore.. glasses are possibly my favourite accessory.
Ah, I love how I am writing this post from my garden – finally England has been blessed with some sun! I’ve had a bit of a crazy weekend too – Friday night was (another) birthday BBQ and then Saturday we cured the hangover with lots of coke, chips and.. a massive water fight (check out my vine for videos!) I drove home in my PJ’s and can definitely say that it was fun to be 5 again, only 20 years too late.
