In my mind, I usually class body con dresses purely for the brave amongst us.. but after I faffed around for roughly 15 minutes trying to scoop myself into this dress I realised how flippin’ amazing they are. This thing is like the good version of those suck in Bridget Jones pants – it literally holds everything where it should be. What?! Just saying it how it is.. Anyway, I also love the colour of this dress, a soft baby pink – perfect for summer. I also received this stool from Out There Interiors, which I have fallen in love with (if that’s even possible) It’s a beautiful vintage style dressing table stool and fulfils my current addiction to vintage French bedroom furniture pieces. I felt this baby pink also looked so pretty against the cream and white – if only I had a big fancy dressing room to photograph these in instead of my garden, hey!
I’m not going to lie, I was a litttttle hot shooting these photos.. but I’m definitely not complaining, I am loving this sun! I had a bit of a last minute summer wardrobe dilemma this week too.. I realised I hadn’t actually brought anything remotely summery lately and therefore am stuck wearing jeans.. too hot for that. I’m not sure how I have collected SO many pairs of jeans. Anyway, a swift shopping trip sorted that right out and I brought some amazing key summer pieces in the sales! Love a bargain.. so the last minute panic was worth it. I’ll make sure I show you what I brought soon.. I might be due a haul over on my youtube channel after all.. ;P
