Grey shiny pants.. somewhat, erm.. robotic (but we’re talking cool robotic, obviously) I say this alot, but if you had told me a few years ago that I’d be wearing meticallic silver trousers I would have laughed.. quite a bit. This is why I LOVE fashion, you can never tell what’s coming next, I love how daring you can be with clothes ‘these days’. You know what, I love these! I am a big Disco Pants fan, I have my American Apparel black ones and whilst I do wear them alot and believe that they are extremely flattering, the price tag is a little steep. With a cult item of course people will pay whatever it takes but you also always get amazing copies which are actually pretty good and of course, alot cheaper – these from She Likes are a great example, these are only £22.. that’s £52 less than the AA version! I was excited to try a cheaper version of the Disco Pants to see what they are like – I admit they aren’t as thick as the original and don’t ‘hold you in’ as well but to be honest that is the only difference, they are still super shiny, metallic and the fit still works well. They are almost more like leggings rather than trousers, which is actually a little more comfortable (and better for daytime wear!) If you want to try Disco Pants but don’t want to fork out the hefty sum then definitely give these a go – they come in a rainbow of colours too!
I have been so busy lately, this is the first chance I’ve had to sit down and blog. I had a very exciting day in London today on a photoshoot for More magazine. It was such a great day and I’m so excited to see the photos in the actual More magazine (big fan over here) It’s for the ‘How would you wear’ feature and I think it will be in the 7th May issue, so keep your eyes peeled. I also met some lovely girls, so a big hi to you if you’re reading this! I did film a small vlog of the day but havent actually looked at the footage yet, I think it’s probably mostly of trains (so exciting, I know.. you lucky things!) because I felt a bit weird talking into a camera, I gave it a go though.. if it’s any good I’ll upload it – we’ll see!
Ah, I love those disco pants! And I like that they have pockets on the back. I want to get a pair of glossy leggings, but I don’t want a shiny bottom with no pockets. Lol – I actually think I like these better than the AA version!
