One of my favourite trends is leather, whether it be pleather, shiny black material or wet look leggings – I love the leather effect, overall. I also love leather when it is worn casual, like this pencil skirt from Pretty Little Thing, (which has stud detailing around the waist line, erm hello perfection!) which I have paired with a over-sized Topshop jumper. I like the effect of baggy and body-con, so I think this works well. Grey and black is also a match made in colour heaven, isn’t it? A pop of red with this MAC lipstick and I think this might well be one of my new favourite outfits. I was a little worried on how well this skirt would fit and look but it is so flattering (even more in real life) and the length is perfect for this transition of weather. Too cold? Can’t walk in heels? (no, me either!) Wear it with black tights, patent brogues and a blazer – it’s a good staple girls.
Speaking of weather, it was light at 4.30pm today, this made me exceptionally happy. Seeing sandals in shops is also cheering me up. Winter, be gone already!
