A classic black dress is a well known and popular wardrobe staple. Looking through my wardrobe, I do have about a million (wish I was exaggerating) but this one is different.. why you ask? Well, it is quite a unique baggy fit with a high-neck, making it a kind of classic, smart but still boho styled dress. It also has an ultra modern dipped hem and the back has a cut out along the shoulders which adds to the overall style. I just love it. As soon as I saw it I knew it needed big chunky wedges and a coloured clutch bag to break it up a little. I like the way it also looks completely different with and without and belt – it totally transforms the dress, which version do you prefer? It also comes in a cute green/teal shade, this is such a nice summery colour and would look great with bright pink lips and colourful accessories – wish I had that one too!
So, I wasn’t going to blog tonight but I am powering through. I’ve had a pretty hard time this past week as sadly my Grandad passed away – it has left me pretty heartbroken to say the least. I don’t really want to talk about it too much on here because this is a happy, happy place, but I wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you that tweeted and emailed me… you have no idea how much that cheered me up and warmed my heart – you guys are just so lovely and I am very grateful for each and every one of you. Much love x
